Greetings !

I don't know if I can post here for this question
I already build a standalone spring reverb with a transformeless driver for tank for a studio use ( I put a steup transformer and I have 12Vp-p at the tube grid
It work good, but I want to drive more the tank and don't know witch values I need to tweak arround the Tube

If I compare with a "classic " fender transformer drive ( like a 6K6 ) the drive is really more powerfull , I can "hear " the spring move if i put my ear close to the spring on tank...I can't understand why
I follow the Valve Wizard recommandation ; ( See middle / end of this page )
http://www.valvewizard.co.uk/reverbdriver.html
Originally he drawn shematic for ECC82 , but he say " A larger triode like an ECC99 or even a triode-strapped pentode might be used on its own "

But I think values can be ajusted ...if someone can help :)
Thanks in advance

Thanks , I already see that shematic , but if possible i prefer to expriment with the actual design if possible , because it s a lot of change
I see that SRPP is nice for a medium impedance tank , but never see it for high FB tank

I've found favour with low Z tank input transducers and amps capable of driving speaker type impedence , lightbulb limiters and an attenuator to prevent the transducer from saturating when you have an EL84 or 6V6 'cranked' balls to the wall .

Lightbulb limiters  ? Interesting , can you develop please ?
So with low Z tank  we need a transformer i imagine

If you  smart search 'spring reverb' from the main group diy page you'll find a few threads I and others have contributed too.
