Echocord mini repair

Hi!

Struggling with a Echocord mini. I doesnt have a lot of feedback as they should have if you turn the knob all the way up.
It pass the clean signal through loud and clear.
I think ive checked all the mesure points that are shown in the schematic...im afraid there is a problem with the tape heads but im not sure.
Does anyone know how to check them? Familiar problem to anyone?

Did you clean the heads?

Everything that is easy to do is done. New tape, clean and demagnetized heads. Cant say theyve "open up" but looks worn
