I had the pleasure of working with Ed Green the true veteran of live production recording and mixing.  What an honor,  what a great man.  I mixed the music and he mixed the audience.  He was such a support person.  Never a negative word.  Always instructive and uplifting.  What a great contributor to the art of live broadcast.  22 Emmys.  My condolences to his wife.

Involved in the build of what became Cherokee.

“One year, in New York’s Radio City Music Hall, on the day before the [Grammy Awards], we ordered an additional 300 microphones, and had somewhere around 900 microphones. All the groups and orchestras were preset and they would wheel in, plug in and go. I think we had 23 acts on that particular show.”
