Hello everyone! Noticed today that one of my favorite pedals, The EH Deluxe Memory Man, is acting kinda weird. The delay is distorted sounding, and the signal level seems to drop a bit no matter what level setting i set with the level knob. If i tapp on it, it goes back to normal for a second, but wont stick. im gonna take it apart tonight, see if anything is loose. Any one ever get inside this pedal? Any suggestions?

Regards
Ian

I'd probably check the capacitors first, has it always used the same power supply or did you accidentally plug in the wrong supply for your pedal?

I had similar issues, and it took me forever to get on top of them.  It was largely due to the fact that the PCB's in these pedals are such absolute junk, that I was having traces lift and break on the board.  I finally fixed it by hardwiring a lot of components together.  I hope your solution is simpler!

ha.. turns out my solution was alot simpler.. there was a nut loose in the casing, and it was on the board, probably shorting something out... i removed the loose nut, dont even know where it came from, and plugged it in, and it works fine.... if only all projects where that easy..... :)
