Hi,
i machined an inlay for my ELA251-Build based on an HT-11A-Body with Chungers custom headbasket. I used two-colored inlay foam for tool storage and it came out pretty well, the mic sits perfect in its form (sorry, for my bad englisch…).
I´d happly share the CAD-File, if somebdy is interested. Next step: Build a wooden box around it…

Maybe it would be an idea to make them fit Chungers microphone boxes?

Good idea! But the CAD-drawing will need some adjustments… I used two pieces of 35 mm thick foam, so my box will open right in the middel, while chgungers boxes have a small lid… but i can assure, that the outline for the mic fits perfectly!
I´ll attach the dxf-file, just change txt to dxf (units are millimeters).

wow looks fantastic. How did you machine it?

It is milled on my CNC milling machine, with a special 4 mm foam router bit. With foam it is best to reverse the routing strategies. i routed the outline first, routed a channel down the body-pocket to get smaller chips during the final clearing of the pocket.
