got my hands on an EMT A100
(just loaded the whole 90 pages manual into the docs section )
i´m in the process of recapping , since some caps already leaked onto the pcb
while i´m at it i would need to add direct outs .
can anyone advice me if i could take the signal (let´s say post fader for instance ) without adding additional buffers ?
thanks

The insert is asymmetric but buffered at +6, it should be possible to move the insert point after EQ, and use it as direct out
C24 and C26 don't seem that far on the pcb, maybe and axial can do the bridge between phase and fader.
Then put the insert between filter switch output and the point 44 on the PCB.
This may or may not fit your need, but have the advantage of no trace cut or hazardous pcb rework/reroute.

Hello nashkato,
Be careful with your A100 channels and caps leaking !
The leaking from the EL caps might have destroyed the copper traces under the IC 's sockets...!
It happens to me and I spent some time to figure it out...

Best,
Guy
