Hi!

Ive tried to look over the web to source this VU meter
http://www.hairballaudio.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=25&products_id=86

EU source here but its also out of stock
http://www.don-audio.com/Vintage-Meters-VU-Meter-VM2103

If anyone knows another source for this type meter please let me know, thanks!

It also says 'price on application'. So, how much are they?

I think these may be the same one Holger used on his one metre monster.

Cheers

I asked and the lead time is 46 weeks and the price is 59 euros.

Ill order now and finish my PM670 year later?!  ::)

I ordered the basic 1176/LA2A meter type from Don Audio and the meters had a sticker on them: www.vintage-meters.com tho i couldn´t  find a page like that.

The Hairball Audio price is good but at the moment i dont have anything else to get from there and since it comes out of EU i have to pay 24% import tax + another 3-5% "whatever-the-customs-feel-like-today" tax....

What about these?

http://www.canford.co.uk/Products/58-379_SIFAM-AUDIO-LEVEL-METER-AL20SQ-Retro

They ship fast, a bit expensive but what is really cheap in DIY?

Thanks, i bet the original Sifam would be good but a bit too pricy for me...

I sent an email to Nissei if they sell direct, their TR57 meter looks like a pretty good copy. Some smaller Nissei meters were priced 6€ in ebay so they could be just what i need if they sell in small quantities.

Weiss can you tell me the seller, i think its the same guy i saw but he didnt have these tr57 meters.
Nissei got back to me, their distributor is Hairball and their meters are used in loads of gear like Audient, Focusrite etc.
Ill see if Nissei will send me a free sample of 2pcs.

If anyone wants to group order these or other nissei meters, the MOQ is 50pcs and the price for one TR57 meter would be 18 USD.

Let me know.

it seems like he sold all his parts..

Since the "modushop" is in my hometown and i bought nissei meters from them, i can confirm that they sell original nissei meters (i have fake from ebay to compare) and overall company is ok. They also do engraving on the enclosures.
