Hey everyone, first post on this fantastic forum, hope I'm not breaking any rules!
I recently acquired an Electrovoice ZLX-12P monitor. Someone had accidentally plugged an amplified signal into the line input. I've done some basic diagnostics thus far.
Symptoms:
Powers on fine albeit with that sad smell of burnt circuitry.
Channel one gets no signal. Channel two gets intermittent signal that varies from no signal to clean but quiet to horribly distorted (seems to be linked to volume of incoming signal)
Both PCBs look fine to me, no blown up caps or scorch marks.
I have no idea where to start poking with my multi-meter. Contacted EV and they will not release the schematics
