Mine needs a complete rebuild, keeps blowing fuses & it is not the PSU....

That input filter built around IC2 is a beauty.
They have fully integrated the LM301's compensation network into the filter function.

But where the flanger section is I don't know.

I think what you have there is the complete Instant Phaser, the flanger section is on a plug in board. I'm not at my PC at the moment so I can't look for the flanger section, but from memory it used MN3001.

I have the same problem with an FL201, it is noisy. gets worse as it warms up. I just spent $30 to buy the manual from eventide and they don't provide the schematic for the delay card. they tell you if there is any problem with this section, "wrap the card in foil and send it to eventide. any tampering voids the warantee." Id love to get this thing fixed.

Hmmm... You are right, 301'th did not have class A output stage.

Output transistors are unbiased, so voltage swing on low levels is provided by opamp output through current that flows through 470 Ohm resistors. WHile common sense suggests that the result will be high crossover distortions, in reality they are less udible than if output transistors were biased up to B class point (and even up to AB in case of symmetrical emitter followers).

Sorry for  bringing back to life that topic but I have a Instant Flanger on the bench and I can't find the schematics anywhere. eems that they disappeared here too. Does someone still have what David Kulka uploaded at the time?
