The wire for my EWI that runs from the 3020m Module to the 3020 EWI works but if I move it I am getting interference and false triggers.  So part or the wire near the actual EWI is triggering notes when I wiggle the wire, so either the wire is bad or something is bad in the actual connector, maybe one of the wire solders broke.  I have attached pictures of the connector and really don't want to open it up if I can't get it closed again.  These wires are really scarce now and AKAI doesn't make them any more.  So I was wondering if I could find a new connector and cut about 6 inches off of the wire and attach the new connector.  But I have no idea what kind of connector it is.  This is where you guys come in.  What kind of connector is this and should i replace it or try to open this one up and cut the wire and re-solder the individual wires to the 10 pins inside it.  From what i have found it might be some type of camera connector from the 90's.  The connector has an "HRS"  LOGO written on it and the wire has "EBARA E49174 AWM STYLE 2990 VW-1SC"  The other connector that attaches to the 3020m module has no issues yet.  What do you guys think?

No Luck on the hirose site, I guess I will have to open it up.  Maybe one will pop up on ebay.  If I can get the whole instrument cable I will buy it and then open this one up.
