Hi all,
I have a neve 1290 build that seems to work fine, though, I notice a weird issue when I use a hairball blue stripe clone after it in the signal chain. As I raise the input level on the 1176 the volume just goes lower and lower till it goes away completely. I know from using this compressor with other preamps that it works fine and there is a slight rise in volume as the input signal is turned up with my other pres. Is there is a phase output issue with Neve that could be causing this kind of behavior? I'd like to get to the bottom of this as I'd love to start using this pre with the 1176. Please forgive my ignorance if this kind of issue has been covered before but I didn't see anything about it when I searched.
