so.. what is the standard of fader cleaning in 2014?

Looking at products from the likes of caig, Im really not sure what products to use. I have a control24 myself, but my friends have mixers/consoles that might need some lube.  :)
 
If your faders are conductive plastic, you can used distilled water on a toothpick. Do not soak the plastic element & wait til it dries before using it. Used this on API, Penny & Giles faders etc.
