Ferrograph series 3 manual/schematic

Good morning-

Does anyone have either of these laying about?

I have a motor deck that is either a series 2 or 3.  The head block is, L-R from top-

Auto stop/tape guide - Erase head (I8) - Record/Replay (F8)

I believe its the 3  1/4 and 7 1/2 IPS model.  It appears to be mono?

I'd like to rebuild this and not butcher it for a tape preamp.  Is it even worthwhile with these heads.  I could find no other info searching online.

I might have something on this deck, but I'm away until the 6th April.  Give me a heads up then if nobody else is able to sort it out in the mean time.

That would be great, thanks.  I have found a copy of the series 2, which seems very similar.  Is the circuit the same?

The heads seem fairly interchangeable and available-at least in Europe.

This deck has the tape guide instead of a third head.  Is there a simple way to add a third hole for another head?  I have access to punches and a drill press.  I'd hate to be stuck with two heads at 7 1/2 IPS.  I have a Brenell Mk 5 already for that.
