Fostex 4030 - 4035 Locate Point Woes !!

'Allo Chaps,

I'm wondering if anyone has had the same probs as me regarding Locate points using a Fostex 4030 - 4035.

The 4030 is the interface that takes timecode from the Otari, 4035 is the auto locate module.

No problems controlling the otari eg. play , rec, rewind, forward etc, but no joy with the auto locator.

I'm sure that in one of the setup menu's there is the facility to set the locate points, but i can't find it !

does anyone have a operators manual for the units, or has someone gone through the same problems ?

Any help would be much appreciated !!

I thought the 4035 was the remote for the rack mounted 4030 (smpte based)
The auto locator is the 4050 (smpte and midi based - that is why you get the auto locate points)

The only problem now is checking stuff out up in the studio - it's about 40 miles away from me in Cardiff, and i'm knackered due to my recent bump in work to get there :twisted:
