I’ve been working on and off for a couple years to assemble a really high quality M49 clone, ordering Oliver’s M49 more expensive and complete kit, a K49 capsule from Neumann, and the D-49 round PCB set from Dany at vintagemicrophonepcbkit.com. Oliver’s kit was great, but I was uncertain about some of the parts so I ordered Dany’s PCBs (having had success with PCB kits in the past). I have the PCB 95% assembled, and have been figuring how to harmonize the PCBs with Oliver’s kit and body - which I think is only about getting the right sized standoffs, and then drilling the PCB for holes to mount on one of Oliver’s plexi decks (though I'm sure there are other ways to make it happen). (It's also possible to get new parts and just build onto the AMI kit, see pics.)  I planned to start with the original AMI capsule, get the mic running great and then install the Neumann capsule.

Everything has been great, but I just haven’t been able to get consistent time and am getting ready to dive into some big life changes, and am feeling it’s best to send off now to someone who can bring this project home.

Parts including:
- New Neumann K49 Capsule
- Oliver’s AMI M49 Alternative kit with the BV11R transformer, AMI mic body, shockmount, 10 meters of Gotham tube mic cable and Binder connectors, AMI M7/K49 capsule with holder, AMI high quality power suppy w/ multi-pattern switch, decks/parts/screws
- Assembled D-49c PCB from Dany’s partslist, parts
- Extra D-49b and power supply PCB from Dany
- Two more Sylvania 5840 tubes

SOLD!
