Fuse for AC tube heaters?

Hi guys, would you use a fuse for the heaters of a small DIY guitar amp (1.1A)?

I usually use regulated DC for my preamps and secure them with a fuse if possible. I'm not sure if this would make any sense for AC as well. What is your opinion?

You don’t need a fuse on heathers if you use ac, the heather itself acts as a fuse
