Hey People

I'm about to make a pair gyraf pultecs. I don't feel I need the hi cut band as much I need a mid cut
Could I just change the cap values on the the hi cut to achieve this?
The frequencies I 'd want to put in would be something like 280, 400, 500 , 650 , 800, 1k

Could this cause other problems to the circuit or is there anything I need to consider
for example Is the hi cut shelving or peak?

Thanks

Tom

The mid cut on the MEQ uses an inductor , but you could graft that ,
i'm planning on adding the Hi boost section of the PEQ to an Meq
[ same sort of logic as you ] the " parametrics " certainly have quite a
few sections so i think it is doable [ Dave Hill had told me something
about being able to multiple bands together before needing a buffer
and then something about impedances but i forget that

Incase i confused the issue , i was thinking he meant eqp ,
but i was suggesting to look to the meq for the mid cut ,
as a more effective way to get it
[ wouldn't happen without the inductors ]

Yeah I'm building Gyrafs EqP - was hoping to mod in a mid cut
Has anyway succesfully added CJ's cut modification as shown in another pultec thread?
