Hey everyone ...

I have a million and 1 questions regarding the G1176. I'll start off with 4 questions and would be absolutely gratefull if some one could help me.

On The POWER SUPPLY TRANSFORMER 2X24V/500mA is this output AC or DC?

When Using the optional Lunhal LL1540 input transformer, can you connect a switch so that you can use it as either the normal 1176 input and then switch to the llundhal input as it can then give you a choice of using it? If so can someone draw me a picture :)?

When it comes to substituting the BD517 with NTE128P and BD518 with NTE189 (according to datasheets)both of them have the same order of pins EBC does this mean you dont have to cross the legs and you can just solder it in?

The datasheets for the BD's also say collector connected to tab, where as the NTE datasheet does not have this statement. Is this significant?

Thats all for now!
Many Thanks
Roger

AC... the power is then rectified and regulated in the 1176 circuit.

There are a small handful of components that need to me removed from the board to use the optional tranny input, so I don't see how this would be possible (any others thoughts anyone?)

The tab would not be used in this case- doesn't matter.
