Probably a dumb question  :-[

but........ at the TX end of the G7 pcb there are a couple of very very fine traces which just touch - which I guess are there for paralleling the TX secondaries

Should I cut them or should they be connected  ?

Many thanks
Pete

if your talking about the traces closer to  the end of the pcb that connect the 2 outer tranny pads together and the 2 inner transformer pads together, they should be left as they are . do not cut any traces on the pcb

Agree.

The option to split transformer secondaries is for when you wish to experiment with feedback. For a straight build, leave secondaries paralleled.

Thanks Jakob
- that makes sense to me now.

I know many of these have been built already - but thanks for a great mic project !

Finished and tested my PSU today and its working 100% first time - I'm excited to finish the mic now once I get the capsule from Tim.
