G9 47K ohm pot

Anyone been forced to use 47K ohm LINEAR pot in the G9? Super yuck, or what?

i think this is going to influence the range until the very last mm's of the pot, i mean, almost nothing is going to happen until the pot is fully clock or counterclockwise.

How much gain would you guess would be lost using a 50K log? I can't find 47K log anywhere in the US. There's got to be a secret stash somewhere!

You'd actually gain .26dB with the pot fully clockwise. Just use 50K :wink:
