Gates sta level meter adjust

Got asked about this the other day.  How does one adjust the meter on a sta level. We are talking originals and not retro remakes.  So far I can't find any trim pots or instructions on how to do it in the manual...

Schematic shows r38 at the meter as a trim pot, but I can't locate that on the unit.

Early units may not have a trim, not sure.  You may have to add it.  All the units I've seen have it on an internal door panel next to the meter.

interesting.  I'll have in investigate further. So far trim pot was M.I.A.

Found it.  Wish it was labeled differently

The label is for the time constant switch (modified to add a "triple" position).  The pot is R38 and I can see an "8" in your photo, perhaps the "3" is under the knob.
