Gyraf SSL Compressor problem

Hey Guys,

i've build a ssl compressor by looking at the plans and schematics from gyraf.
My problem is, that the ssl is compressing way to much, it's almost like reversed noisegate.
The signal is almost compressed to about -70db and the compression holds for about 1-3 seconds,
depending on the settings.
Do you have an idea where to start troubleshooting?
I can send pictures and soundexamples if necessary.
