Just in time for Halloween I read a story in the paper today about a crispr(?) gene splicing experiment that went awry.. They were trying to cure a genetic blindness issue by splicing in the missing gene segment, but oops.... Whole segments of DNA disappeared. So now baby can see, but doesn't have a ______.  ::)

This was a real story, but I can't imagine mad scientists messing with human DNA...

Wow, thats bad, however I would gladly give up my ____ in exchange for vision, so overall the baby got the "less worse" deal.

..that would pretty much depend upon what exactly ___ refers to, imo..?
I am pretty sure the flawed DNA was not considered viable... I was trying to make a humorous speculation about what a major missing sections of DNA could cause.
