Recently I had to work on one of *those* pieces where the pots are all mounted to the PCB and you have to take off every knob and nut to get the board out.  Then to re-assemble you need to make sure all the washers and lock washers are on the shafts before trying to simultaneously get them all through the front panel.  Not easy.

But, I happened to have a jar of liquid flux handy for soldering.  This stuff is STICKY and dries quickly - just a tiny drop on each washer and I got the board in on the first try.  Come to think of it, it might make a good substitute for Loc-Tite as well!

Handy mechanical ass....  ;D
Thats how the post appears on the main page ,I got a laugh off that

Ive used a simple piece of sellotape to hold all the toothed washers on before ,once you have the board in place and one or two washers and nuts on loosely ,its easy to pull away the tape and no mess left behind .
