AYM is the original source of these mics I think? Used to be called tongxing. Their products are quality enough. They supply microphone-parts and countless others. You can tell their capsules from the peach colored conformal coating they use. They placed second in my capsule manufacturing contest, and I still get some other parts from them. (Their transformers are particularly good.) My current capsules aren't skinned by them, but the backplates are actually from one of the metalworking contractors they work with.

In this price range I would still suggest line audio overall but give them a shot if you want.

Yeah I have a couple Line Audio CM4s, I was just interested in taking a look at the supercardioid mic if I could get just one or two and if they're cheap, but I'm not sure. The iSK equivalents were only $30.
"Mice" as a brand name - really?
What if it's actually pronounced Mikey?

30 dollars is probably about what the AYM mics run at wholesale

I never tried their condenser microphones but I bought 2 of their Ribbon mics.
The RM5 that looks like a Royer knockoff and the RM6 that is shaped like the Sennheiser MD409/BF509/e906 but a little bigger.
Well these mics were really really cheap, I didn't believe when they told me the price.
When they arrived I opened them to check the construction and inspect, so although the construction was pretty solid, very solid I must say, the ribbons in both mics were sagging.
How much sagging? well a lot to be honest, too much

I sent them an email complaining and sent photos of the Ribbon sag, they were very fast and tight in solving the situation, very easy to deal with, they promptly sent for free 2 new mics and told me the problem would be solved.
I checked these 2 new mics when they arrived, and the Ribbons installation was perfect in both of them, and the mics sound absolutely great.

So they solved for sure the Ribbon sag from the first units to the second ones, but my question is, did they solve it only in the 2 new mics just because I complained? Did they improve anything in the Ribbon inhalations methods or will it still be made with high tolerances and with no quality control?

Conclusion: If someone buys ribbon mics from then and the Ribbons are like my second pair, then it's an amazing deal, for the price the best deal in the mic world.
If the pair you receive is like the first mics I received then they're just unusable and the small money you paid went down the trash.

Do you happen to know how I can contact them? The email on their site didn't work for me.

I contacted them through the sales email in the website and they were very fast to get back to me and the communication was really good and easy. The English was perfect, something that it's hard for communication with other companies in Chine since normally the English level is very low, it was a breeze to talk and make business with them.

Try to contact them again after Chinese Holidays, if they don't get back to you then, just let me know and I have direct emails to the sales persons

The issue I had was the email listed at the bottom of the site when I tried to e-mail it I got a message saying that email address doesn't exist.
