This is my favorite inexpensive microphone. I own two of them (the previous KSM-27 versions) and it is THE BEST mic at the $300 price point, and as far as I'm concerned, that's the price-point where good mics start.

If $300 is out of your price range, you may want to try a pre-owned Rode NT1-A, which regularly sell for £100/€120 or less on eBay. They have very low self-noise which is great for quiet sound sources.

The NT1A is a bit bright for some tastes, but that might be ideal for ASMR. You can sell it if not, and won't lose much money.
