Hello from Bristol

I joined to get involved with audio electronics more. I design with general electronics and would like to improve my knowledge around audio interfaces and mixers, preamps, ADC sampling etc. I hope to be able to repair more complex faults and eventually build custom devices. It seems there are many experienced members here and interesting conversations which I am excited to join.

Never been to Bristol, but I like what this town do to music in the 90'

I last went to Bristol last century. I visit Commonwealth Smelters. One foot diameter gas pipes and blown air into huge continuous griddle smelters. The resultant molten metal then was heated further in tall ceramic brick chimneys and the different metal constituents of the melt were drawn off at different heights. Fractional distillation of metal. Very Dickensian.

Things are a lot cooler here.
