Hello, my name is Bertrand and I live in the south of France. I'm an artist working in music, film and theatre, a sound engineer in a previous life, passionate about analogue equipment, tape recorders, passive equalisation, vintage compressors, old microphones, old mixing desks...
I'm not very advanced in electronics, but I have a few basics and I'm fairly comfortable with a soldering iron. This led me to build several modules for my eurorack modular synth and my API 500 rack. For me, it's a real pleasure to make sound and music with equipment that I've built myself.
Now I'm looking for information on how to build a stereo filter inspired by the ‘big knob’ of dub master King Tubby (the design seems to be similar to the Altec 9069B? ). I'm also looking to build a stereo tube compressor for mastering.
That's a lot of projects, a lot of desire, not enough time...
