My name is Frank and i am a technician and hobbyist since i can remember.
I started repairing TV sets when i was in high school and later i became interested in audio and high quality amplifiers (i was a big fan of La Maison de 'l Audiophile in Paris).
Later i became interested in studio equipment (vintage tube stuff only).
Now i am interested in not only tube amps but also in D/A converters and musical instruments like Hammond organs (A100, B3 etc.)
I would like to build a small mixer console with some spare V77 amplifiers i found and some microphones to go with it.
I hope to find some good ideas here and give some tips myself in exchange...

A tube mixer based on a bunch of V77 modules sounds like a great project. I think you are very lucky to have "spare" V77 modules

Yes, i feel very fortunate indeed. These spare units are extra units that came with the 2x5 channel mixer i got about 30 years ago (i am second owner of this mixer). But did not yet had a purpose other then waiting for one of the amps needed to be replaced. Now i have to service some of them as these are a bit noisy (tube noise i guess).
