I'm a longtime home studio owner since the mid 90's.
Also really obsessed with restoring non working vintage ribbon mics, from cutting my own ribbons to rebuilding bodies and grills. Currently rebuilding an Altec 639b birdcage. Missing cage teeth are being replaced by diy molds and epoxy resins.
Everytime I Google a tech question, this forum shows up so I figured I better join...thanks for the ad.
