Setting up a conference system at my job and need help.

I have an amp called Advance Acoustic MAP-305:
Specs: Power output: 100 watts per channel into 8Ω (stereo)

And a bunch of speakers called JBSYSTEMS k-50 marked with 50 Watts RMS, 8 OHM

How many speakers can I have in parallell on each channel of this amp?

hello,

it is possible to connect 4 speakers in series/parallel per channel.

Dont understand. If having 4 speakers on one channel the load will be 2Ohms, and the guide on your link says "Do not use a lower impedance load, as this could cause serious damage to your SS amp."

Please look at "Series/Parallel Connections" in the page of the link.
It is giving the solution for your problem.

You'll see the picture below.

Thanks! Now I see!
Do I have to be concerned about wattage? 4 x 50W speaker = 200W and I have an amp rated 100W?

No worries about wattage. Just try it out. If the efficiency of your speakers is not very low, 2x 100w is sufficient for amplifying a conference system.
