Help with apex 460 mod wiring (tubes)

I'm unsure how if at all I should wire pin 5 of the 6072 tube. Below is the modded schematic. Any help is appreciated.

Heaters are in parallel.  Pins 4 and 5 should be connected to the 6V heater voltage coming from the cable.  Pin 9 is ground.

No need to wire pin 5. You're not using that triode, why waste the current?

You can always ground it if it makes you feel better.

Ahh yes, MagnetoSound is correct:  I thought this was the stock circuit with the cathode follower in place.
