Hey Icelantic friends

Has anyone heard of a fellow , Omar Sigurson ?
I realize it maybe a common name and misspelled by me , He is a singer songwriter type who lived in
Winnipeg Manitoba Canada in the late 70's / 80's and moved back to Iceland at some point
maybe in his late 50's now
Fairly talented but didn't catch a break, he had a decent unreleased album at the time
Curious whatever happened to him, Tia for any info

There are people of that name. One speaks american enough to come to Oklahoma and buy a truck to ship back to Iceland. Another (or the same) may have a name on a report to drill Iceland for heat (the author list looks like a Viking boat-crew). Three on LinkedIn but all appear to be younger. Don't see a link to Manitoba or music but you should trawl.

Thanks for the reply, I found him as friends with another Winnipeg person I know on Facebook
by chance really, the name is  Sigurður Ómar Jònsson , I'll see if he's still creating music as he is a talented fellow for sure !

Yes, those icelandic names could be tricky:  Jònsson is  a patronym, his fathers name is/was Jòn.
