High pass hum....pm1000

I have a few pm1000 modules..whenever I engage the high pass i get some low frequency hum..they have been recapped already (they did this before the recap as well)..sounds like a ground issue..anyone tackle this already?

WHere is the power supply? Same box? Close?

Power is in a seperate box about 3 feet from the pre's....does sound like a 60htz hum tho...wierd how it is not there at all until I engage the high pass...

That is weird. I wish I could help. I just finished racking two channels my self. I have no hum problems even with the power supply and channels together in one chassis.

Maybe the switch is wired backwards?

well since all the modules are doing the same thing I can't believe they are all wired wrong..I will do some more poking around this week end..
