Hi,
what is the best way to test a crossover?
I have some problems with my Quested vh2108. :-\

The woofer has less volume than before.
I've changed the speaker and checked the amplifier but they are ok...
The only other thing is the crossover... ???

The loudspeaker is not easy to open... i can't see how the crossover is made...  :-[
There's a way to check it testing ins and outs in some way?

I would like to open the speaker only if i really need to....  :-\

ok... and how?  ???
I have a signal generator, a spectrum analizer and a tester.
I think I can't simply connect them to the speaker, because it's a 8 ohm device.....  ???

You need a power amp between the generator an dthe input of the x-over; don't need much power (1W is enough) but need the low output impedance. You can connect the spectrum analyser directly across the output of the x-over.

have you tried swapping the woofer to see if the problem goes with the  suspect woofer?
Yes, the first thing i've done it's been swap woofer, amplifier and even cables... nothing worked  :-\
