You don't need to spend all your time going over financial documents like Warren Buffett. You don't need to spend all your time doing math at the highest level like Jim Simons. Nope. Just join Congress and you too can be a Wall Street Wizard that crushes the S&P. Democrat? Republican? All are welcome in the world's greatest hedge fund.

Except for the half dozen who didn't even manage to beat SPY..

I like BRKB but Warren is pretty old. Munger isn't getting any older these days.

Any 'muricans surprised? They are not part of the Social Security System, not part of Medicare, they were exempt, EXEMPT from gubment vax mandates, it's totally back-azzwards. It will not change until the fed gubment stops being a birdfeeder. The administrative state, the phantom fourth branch, must be clipped from the tree.
There are a few sites that track politician trades, in and out. Interesting side hustle beyond a core portfolio.
caveat emptor, on the sites AND the foilticians running the US!
But Happy New Year anyway, everyone!!

I have long said that legislators should be paid more.

In private industry people spending $T of dollars get paid more than a few hundred $K to reduce their temptation to promote active shrinkage. ;)
