Hi there,
I have some IRLZ44 N-channel Mosfets on my way for building a tiny cheap project.
I though that i could use them as well for a new power supply for the modular synthesizer, rather than using several LM317/LM337 based DIY pcb's.
That mosfet can deliver 44 amp at 10V, rather than 1.5.
I saw this circuit or similar on YouTube some time and draw-ed in the Falstad simu.
How do i build that circuit for the Negative rail?
if possible using the same zener diode already present in the circuit (although in reality it should be 12V).
The circuit seems to work well even if you vary the load by adjust the load resistor.
Suggestions on improvements are welcome.
