Just i wonder that's useful? Cause i can't measure frequensy response,i have no equipment.

I made it from Poor Man's EQP.

hmmm what are you trying to do with putting a filter there? have you simed it on a spice program? looks cool...depends what you want it to do

I'm trying to build passive mastering EQ(most color eq).I think it can be variable freq but not "standart variable freq".By the way what is spice program? Simulation program i guess right? Can i simulate this schematic on spice program?

have physically built it yet? how does it sound?

Nop.I didn't try it physically yet but i will.Firstly i wanted to ask to Gurus.

I think if you help,it can be different style EQ.

Thanks

well if you label it as "idiotic idea" its going to take a guru to tell you it could be the best idea ever. im no guru and i dont know exactly how that circuit would effect everything, and the other circuits down stream. i would bet there might be some unforseen interaction with the other bands...but who really knows (except for a guru, which there are plenty around here) how it will react till you wire up a prototype. and yes spice can model it and show you freqeuncy response curves.

What can i use for simulate circuits? i'm looking for free for now.

if I understand well, you wnt to use the pot as a frequency control that would gradually go from 3k to 8k.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work.
There are other ways of making continuous frequency control of EQ, but not with so-called "passive" topology.
