I have designed a dual saturation unit and I had been given a free box of SDS DS2E-SDC12V so I used these for true bypassing and for switching the unit into mid side processing. These are now obsolete. Axicom seem tom make an exact alternative
https://uk.farnell.com/axicom-te-co...01/relay-signal-dpdt-250vac-220vdc/dp/1174987This is also available at mouser so would seem ok to use them
I have a dedicated spot for a dc/dc convertor to drive the relays so that can be changed if another voltage is preferable.
I am hoping to make this available for us DIYers so do you guys have any suggestions or preferences?

I have a Mouser Project Manager List for DPDT relays here: https://www.mouser.com/ProjectManager/ProjectDetail.aspx?AccessID=e473282442

I've never used the Axicom but do regularly use Omron low signal, high sensitivity options.
The Axicom didn't seem to have any low signal current specs last time I looked.
EDIT: Farnell has a better data sheet than Mouser. The Axicom spec 100µV minimum switching voltage vs. 10µV for the Omron.

Does your saturator use +/-15V rails?
Asking due to powering...

Yes I am using +/-15V rails, but i like to keep the relay power separate. I also have a 3.3V reg for the nutube biasing. It really makes the audio circuit immune to the power rails.
Those Omrons have the same footprint as the obosolete one I was using so the footprint is great. Just need to change the drive resistor.
I will order some Omrons now and have a play.
thanks

You are a star! The omrons were a drop in match. In fact i was able to reduce about 20mA on the whole project.
