So on the file: http://www.gyraf.dk/gy_pd/ssl/ssl_82e27.gif there seems to be an IC that is refered to as "351" but i have searched high and low, but have not found anything on it. i found a part that was cross referenced to an LM351, but that was all........ at least on the major distributors...

looking further i found that the LF351 is a 8pin DIP. but the IC on the Audfade circuit : http://www.nrgrecording.de/autofade.pdf is a 14pin dip.

so i first thought TL074.. but that is probably not what is needed.... but i then thought that maybe i should check into the quad vesion of the LF351/ LF356.... and founf the LF444ACN or LF444CN. seems to fit.. but my qustion leis here.

are there any others that i should be looking at?? better specs?

and anyone know which diodes this thing needs... does the schematic say "1544" on 5 of them ?? and the 10V ones.. well suppose i have to look into which would work..

FYI - the quad version of LF353 is the LF347. The dual is called LF353.

the footprint... do you mean the Physical size of the area it takes up, or the way a quad op-amp works.. sounds like the latter....

the LF444 from National Semi seems to have that exact foorprint

so i am just wondering if there is something better than an LF444A or does it not really matter....

I mean in terms of the pinout/functionality---it doesn't make sense. I doubt that the desired part is a quad op amp.

It substitutes T4, T5 and T41 on the SSL schematic. LF347 is a good choice.
Footprint is OK.

1S44, IMO (rectifier Si, 500V, 0.7A).

So you thing a TL074 (LF347) will do. Ok.
well therre is already one in the comp itself. simple enough... just purchase 2 then..

1s44?? will look into that

1s44....[/quote]

Hi,

I checked the SSL service manual. It is 1S44.
Anyway, any DUS will do the job, IMO. (1N4148, for example)
