... should be the new saying of the forum. why must we tinker with perfectly good working order gear in order to experiment... or is it just me that likes to break things in the name of science (boredom)?
 
For sure , I can't resist opening up a new piece of gear [ and thinking i can upgrade it ]
most of the stuff here is good quality d.i.y. from scratch these days , no ?
