Interesting, description says “Sound absorbing panel”, but I’m not sure about the thickness

Looks like they're filled with PET or something like that. With that thickness, I'd say they have an absorption coefficient of 0.5 to 0.7 in the high mids. A few of those wouldn't hurt if you like the look, but for proper treatment there are for sure better ways. :)

heavy and or layered curtains could reduce reflections better and look better
the mass and volume of this product will have very limited frequency range

Blurb says they are 100% polyester.

I know this material, I use it for other purposes, it´s a non-woven fabric made of polypropilene or polyester, there are versions of high thickness of about 8mm, it´s called non-woven geotextile. I don´t know about the efficiency in sound absorption, as the density is very low.
