Hello

I have hard time finding 4-40 unc screw (only need two  :-[) with about 40mm long (probably 38.1mm, 1-1/2 inch)
better with countersunk

I also need two 1 inch long, but that's easier to find.

Tks for advise (or help if someone have few laying around in his workshop...)

You can get them here: https://online-schrauben.de/shop/Schrauben/Zollschrauben/AM-965-Zollgewinde-UNC-UNF-BSW-BSF-Senkkopfschrauben-mit-Kreuzschlitz-aehnl.-ISO-7046-DIN-965-Zollgewinde/Edelstahl-Rostfrei-A2/Nr.-4-40-Gewinde-UNC-Amerikanisches-Grobgewinde

But quite pricey...

I was about to suggest bafa as abbey already did.

Their website is a bit of a mess though. Since i live very close to their warehouse, i end up going there directly. They are very helpfull.

Cheers,

Thomas

We had a great place here locally a few years ago , was mostly servicing the computer industry , these guys had kilos of virtually every fixing and thread known to mankind , not sure what happened in the end , one day they just pulled down the shutters and that was it ,game over . I keep a huge stash of old nuts ,bolts, screws etc , its all jumbled up , but there is good satisfaction in rummaging and finding just the bit you need.
