Hi,
Just reading through a JLM build guide and it refers to a polarised IC socket. Just want to check - I’m in the middle of a build and noticed too late that I’d soldered the socket on the wrong way round. I’ve put the IC in the correct way, so the IC is in the correct orientation.
Can the socket itself also be polarised or am ok as long as the IC is the right way round?
Thanks
Zim
