Among the single-diaphragm electrets, I like this one a lot:
TSB(JLI)-3412; 34mm with integral mesh over diaphragm.

I wish JLI (and others) would stop using the non-sense phrase "pure condenser". Electrets are 'pure' condensers. There are only permanently polarised, and externally polarised condensers. Simply being permanently polarised doesn't make a mic/capsule any less of a condenser.

Nothing 'impure' about a DPA mic, for cryin' out loud!

Any idea what the edge terminated one is like? Or should it be expected to be identical to the RK12?
The 47 and 12 are from a different factory, Getwin. Getwin makes OK capsules, not great, but not terrible. Their 12 is a little flatter than the RK12 IIRC. I actually haven't really heard Getwin's 12 in person though. I have heard that they can roll off the line with unmatched sides. Hopefully JLI tests their stock. Their 47 is nice. Darker than the Neumann. Smaller holes. More damped. Recessed. Syrupy? Interesting sound. Not bad, just different.

Do you know if they're as good as the similarly priced stuff like the stuff from iSK?
Getwin capsules are fine, similar in quality to the capsules Shuaiyin sells. I would say they're all in the same neighborhood. They're all about equally "good" just kind of different. You're not going to get better capsules in single quantities at this price from a store like this. If you're looking for bulk capsules, FZ and 797 are better options and for considerably cheaper per unit. FZ sells capsules for half this much with absurdly good QC (probably the best in China), but only in bulk orders of 50 or more.

Last I heard, 797 was keeping stock for DIY and samples. You could probably score a 797 k12 for about this much by emailing them directly. That would give you more verifiable performance. Unlike getwin, which is a small assembly house, 797 is a massive and well-respected company that makes whole microphones for Blue Microphones and a ton of other companies.
