Hi all
I have a kampo sub 100A subwoofer amplifier and I am using it for a few years now without problems.... until a week ago. Since then there is a sort of electrical static noise every now and then. The noise comes in short bursts of about a second, sometimes it is quite for minutes, sometimes a few short bursts with a few seconds time between them, sometimes a second or two of the noise. The sounds sounds a bit like the sound i get when i move the phase switch (dust?) or the sound i get from plugging in or out the power cable.
The sound sounds pretty thin, but the speaker has enormous movement during the sound, so there must be a lot of energy in there
The sound is still here when I unplug the line input from the amplifier. The sound is there as well after plugging in on a different power socket.
When i unplug the power cable, there is a second of silence and then a second of the noise as a sort of sign of...
anyone any idea how to tackle this?
Cheers
Erik
