Les Paul RIP

I'm sending my well wishes to Les Paul tonight as I'm plucking an old Custom.

He was a real diy pioneer!

A real gentleman.  I was lucky to have been over at his house for some popcorn and stories.  Scores of stories.  Because I met him through two different friends, I can channel two different Les Pauls, especially the tech.  Wish I could channel the player.
We really had a treasure playing every week for decades here in NYC.

No doubt. When I saw him last year, he had the hot blond, string bass player from Australia playing with him. Nicki Parrott. She is a great player and fantastic vocalist. During her solo, Les almost fell off of his stool blatantly checking out her back-side! It was a hilarious moment.  A 93 year old horny man.

Wow Les Paul had such a long life and hope I do the same. And contributed so much to a large varieties of music. I have a Les Paul Studio here. I think I will look at it differently. R.I.P. Legend. I doubt anyone will ever forget him.
