Hi everyone,
I have a Lexicon 224 that was fully refurbished (full recap, etc.) and had been working perfectly.
However, one day, I turned it on and noticed a buzzing noise on the outputs. The reverb still works fine, but there’s a lot of background noise.
Interestingly, the noise gets muted briefly when switching programs, which makes me think it might be related to the digital side of things. I’ve also tested it with the AIN board disconnected, but the noise persists.
The unit passes all diagnostic tests, and I’ve reseated every single IC in the unit. As mentioned, it’s been fully recapped, and the power supply measures fine.
Does anyone have any ideas on what else I could check? Or what good next steps would be? I unfortunately don't have access to a second unit to try swapping boards.
Thanks
