trying to find a replacement for a schadow switch from a super prime time. 

i am unable it find anything like it - doesn't look like ITT is making this any more, but i am early in the search...

any ideas?

yeah, that may be the best solution...

there is probably a good reason they used that long wooden dowel in most all their units.
keeping  AC in the back corner is quieter.

it's so much better to do the 'right' repair, as opposed to just 'making it work again'.


looking for availability, this part number seems more current, NE182UEE6AMP
or at least more available...have not yet ordered and tried
 
I once had to fit one of these into a 224. It has a slightly different size, I could install it but it was definitely different. So you should take a good look at the datasheet and measure your original switch to compare with the new.
