removed initial post, reworking line drawing (I must have been sleepwalking when I started)

Would you kind folks mind taking a look at this, and advise?
I'd like to know if there is anything I should be worrying about, going straight from the pre to the  DIY sontec, or any other issues so far. I think the DI's soft start will cancel out the pop's from switching over to line in.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Try it and see!

It'd be better if you kept the active DI powered all the time, and then just allowed the relay to switch the low-level signal, but if you need to power up both at the same time, just test it out and see how much >pop< you get at switch on.

I'd put a backwards connected rectifier diode e.g. 1N4001 across the relay coil to kill off any back-emf generated by the coil as it switches off. Also check you NO/NC connections when you wire it up- makes sense to have the standard mic input as the NC inputs. But it's easy to mis-wire!

I've started making a true bypass for a gssl, it was at that point I learned about the need for the diode protection, thanks for mentioning that Mark!
I've taken it a step further and added a cap/resistor to ramp the Vin.
